The last week of April was the first week of this harvesting season. The cutters have been sent to sea, the dryer's conveyor belts and all the nets have been restored and generously renovated. The staff gave Fanney a round of applause for her fine work with all of the new net-bags. They are probably stronger and have a more clever design than ever. Also, the aeration has been revised as well as the equipment to empty our silos. Therefore Thorverk feels confident that the eqipment will endure the harvesting season. We hope that the personelle also stays fit and healthy as we are seeing vaccinations going up and covid numbers going down in Iceland. No member of the Thorverk's staff has suffered from the desease as of yet. Have a happy summer season.
