During Asco landing, all landing gear, cranes, ships, crates, netbags, peole, tractors and trailers have to hold their breath so that everyone can get passed, in and out. Finally, a concrete floor is being poured on the pier, an overlay on the front part that fell into the sea some time ago.
The entire pier has been built up, widened and made double in parts so that a tractor and crane can meet. In addition, there are now light poles along the path to the pier. There will be quite heavy transport along the public road down towards Karlsey. Be careful while driving. There are birds and nasty holes on the road.
But the pier looks good and brings us joy into the summer. The contractor Geirnaglinn is in charge of the work.
